Those first days with a newborn are exciting, exhausting, and fleeting. My goal is to make photographing them simple.
I bring the newborn photography experience to your home, where your baby can be comfortable and your family can relax.
After more than 15 years and photographing over 8,000 newborns and families, I've learned how to gently guide babies and families and create beautiful photographs without making the session feel like a production. We'll take our time, take breaks when we need to, and keep things comfortable for everyone.

YOUR IMAGES & ARTWORK
After your session, I'll return to your home for your Image & Artwork Appointment. Together, we'll look through your finished photographs and choose the images included with your collection.
You'll also have the opportunity to order additional photographs and artwork for your home, including albums, framed portraits, and wall art.

03 — YOUR BABY ARRIVES
Once your baby is here, we'll choose your session date.
04 — I COME TO YOU
We'll spend about 50 minutes photographing your baby and family in the comfort of your home.
05 — CHOOSE YOUR FAVORITES
I'll return for your Image & Artwork Appointment, where we'll choose your photographs and discuss artwork.
A FEW QUESTIONS
When should I schedule my newborn session?
Newborn sessions are generally photographed within the first few weeks after birth. Don't worry if your baby is older—we can still create beautiful photographs.
What do I need to do to prepare?
Not much. I'll send you a simple preparation guide before your session. There is no need to have your house perfectly clean or your baby on a strict schedule.
What if my baby is fussy?
That's completely normal. We'll take breaks for feeding, changing and comforting. I work at your baby's pace.
Can parents and siblings be photographed?
Absolutely. Parents and siblings are welcome to be part of the photographs with the Signature and Heirloom experiences.
SERVING FAMILIES AT HOME
Hoskins Photography is based in Evergreen Park and serves families throughout the South Side of Chicago and surrounding south suburbs, generally within about a 40 minutes radius of Evergreen Park.
